CRUDE AWAKENING – 2. Uses of Oil in Everyday Life continued:

Paint, Tires, Gasoline, Jet Fuel, Motorcycle helmets, Oil filters, Car battery cases, Asphalt highways, Anti – freeze, Diesel fuel, Wire-coating, Boats and Seats.

Weed Killer, Insect Killer, Insect Repellent, Awnings, Artificial Turf, Fertilizers, Clothesline, Containers and Garden hoses.

Surprised even more than before??

If you have any questions as to how oil could possibly be used in these products, contact me. I’ll be happy to explain.

For how long can we continue to cough up the crude remains of the earth in order to sustain us?  If  we need a transplant what can replace oil and natural gas that can give us back the components needed in order to recreate the above products that we use in our everyday life?  Throughout my series I intend to try to answer these questions.  But first, let’s go back in time and learn about how the oil business started and why we are now dangerously  dependent on 58% of depleting foreign oil.
